The 4 star rating is for the timing of classes. Need more at 7 or 8 am. Hardly any classes before 9. Nicole McCaughinTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I’ve been a Forma member for a few years and highly recommend the gym. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, and there’s a genuine sense of community among both staff and members. The instructors and trainers are knowledgeable, professional, and highly skilled. I regularly use the pool, group classes, personal training, and the smoothie bar, and every one of these amenities has been exceptional. I appreciate the fitness experience here. I was a member long ago when it was called the Walnut Creek racquetball club so for me it’s like coming home—To a home that has been updated and improved. Everyone is so welcoming and the facilities are all I would need and more. Great classes and personal training. Highly recommend starting with a few personal training sessions to get on track! Annabell is amazing. Lisa BeginTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Lots of cross-fit style functional equipment, decent amount of cardio, great classes, and much more. Free coffee in the morning? Hell yeah they do. Staff that get to know you by name? Hell yeah they do (shout out to Nina, Ryder, Chris, and Jesus. Awesome trainers: Marco Suaréz is the best—his training is number one; Armani has muscles for dayzzz and will get you jacked; Sergio is the homie; Jacki will get you functional and fighting fit for those of us with extra birthdays under our belt. Forma’s bathrooms are immaculate and facilities always clean. Sauna, steam rooms, cold plunge. Love it. Say goodbye to those other gyms open “all day” where weights aren’t ever re-racked, used tissue paper is on the floor, and equipment stays broken for months. You definitely get what you pay for at Forma… unlike some gyms in the WC. Team Gallo por vida. Also, special shout out to the day care squad, the true MVPs. Glen TaylorTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I signed up for Forma in May and it has been a great experience. Nikki at membership was so kind and cuninue to be very kind to us, greeting me and me friend by our first names, making us feel comfortable. I already signed up my daughter and she loves it there too. The classes are great! All the instructors are amazing. Our favorite class and instructor is Max at kick-boxing. We were very shy to try the class first but he is making us feel very comfortable in the mostly male enviroment. We love pretty much everything about forma. The energy, the classes, the front desk, the cleanness etc. We are trying to talk all our friends to sign up :). Creative Art & Clay

Pilates Reformer classes have been a God send to me,they have been so worthwhile as they got me back into the rhythm of exercising again. After years of intense lower back and shoulder pain from the computer, working out on the Reformer has been life changing. I used to have constant back spasms that would immobilize me, but after strengthening my core through their classes, I feel such a dramatic improvement. It's great not to live in pain!
I have been taking Pilates Reformer classes for a year to help with a knee injury and seeing direct results, and really like the mind-body aspect of their program. Absolutely recommend this facility.
I love Pilates Reformer at Forma. They have tons of classes daily and every instructor is highly qualified. I like that they incorporate stretching, balance, strength and mindfulness. I am a devotee!
Over the past couple of months I have taken early morning Pilates classes. Yuki provides good instruction while reading the class attendees' capabilities. Based upon the attendees, He adapts and adjusts the class to improve the benefits of utilizing the reformer as well as other devices in the studio. I highly recommend giving Pilates Reformer at Forma a go.
After a few months of being a member I can say I am THRILLED. Also they offer quality of child care if you become a Member to Forma Gym. I honestly feel like for the price of my gym membership my 2 year old is getting 2 hours of preschool. Every day there is a planned activity to keep the children occupied - from ornament making to coloring, to making slime, to using glue sticks to make fun art projects, etc, every day my daughter comes home with a smile.
If you are looking for great Pilates reformer classes I enthusiastically recommend Pilates Reformer at Forma. Their teachers are deeply trained. Their classes balance strength and flexibility for an excellent workout that leaves me energized and ready for my day. What I particularly value is the attention given to each individual. The small classes allow teachers to personalize training without losing class momentum. After 10 years, I still look forward to each class as I continually deepen my core strength and improve my balance, which supports my skiing and hiking without injury.
Reformer Pilates is a low-impact, full-body movement practice that uses a specialized machine called a reformer. It incorporates intentional movements to improve alignment, mobility, and whole body integration for strength.
